Hussein politics in action over Gitmo and funneling federal dollars to his home state.
This ticks some of us off. Hussein funneling government money to a prison in his home state so he can put his brothers there and close Gitmo. So we bring terrorists to US soil and act as if they have some kind of rights under the US Constitution? War criminals have been tried by military tribunals since at least the fearliest days of this country. George Washington used them during the American Revolution (may have another one of those on our hands soon huh?). Anyway, I feel like Im getting Socialism and extreme leftist ideas shoved down my throat as I watch the country go down the crapper. Just my .02 worth.
Yes, I have written my congressmen and they all feel the same way I do. They are just outnumbered by the domestic enemy.
My solutions is keep Gitmo, keep the terrorists there and have the military tribunal there. If they get the death sentence, carry it out there. If not, keep them there. Then again, keeping gitmo is against our Socialist leaders promises to the left wing-nuts out there. Lefties argue Gitmo cost too much money…whats this federal prison in Husseins home state going to do? Magically be free of cost? I think it will cost LOTS more to fix up a prison in his home state than maintain an existing one where if someone escapes, they will just get killed by the Cubans (fingers crossed).
