Firefox doesn’t allow you to edit source code directly. It’s quick and easy using and add-on versus opening Notepad or something else.
Internet Explorer automatically let’s you do it, but you will need an Add-on for Firefox. Go to the add-on home page and search for Dafizilla ViewSourceWith. There may be others too. This one puts a small icon up near the address bar for quick access. Set it up to use your favorite editor (I use Notepad++).
Some pages don’t seem to work though. Ill keep testing it.

RETIREMENT SHIPPING EXTENSIONS

You must use your household goods move within one year of retirement or try for an extension. Extension are not guaranteed and are governed by Joint Federal Travel Regulation (JFTR). Pertinent JFTR portions are attached as part of this article. If you need the latest JFTR then search for it on Google. The image above is also link to the latest JFTR I could find.
They can only give a one year extension at a time, then you would have to ask again in 11 months. I assumed this is so, if you forget about it, you will lose it and they don’t have to worry about you any more. Your thousands of dollars go back in the pot for use elsewhere. I recommend you set a few reminders in your smart phone or something similar so you don’t lose this benefit.
You can get up to 5 extensions. This is the time limit to use the funds from the particular “pot” of money from which your move was to be paid. For an appeal beyond 5 years, see the Defense Office of Hearings and Appeals (DOHO) for the address to write for you appeal. Use certified mail or they will ignore your letter and pretend they never received it.
For the first 5 extensions, your letter should contain at least the following:
Name:
Rank:
SSN:
Mailing Address:
Phone #s:
E-mail Address:
Reason for Request for Extension (IAW the JFTR – please see below or attached)
Copy of Retirement Orders******Not the DD214******
Signature:
I have attached my friends extension request. His was approved (USAF) for job searching. Extension Request. I stripped out some of the required information listed above so make sure yours includes that.

Chris Kyle, a former U.S. Navy SEAL credited with the largest number of confirmed kills, was one of two people fatally shot at a North Texas shooting range Saturday, Texas Highway Patrol confirmed to Fox News.
Eddie Ray Routh of Lancaster was arraigned early Sunday on two counts of capital murder in the deaths of Kyle, 38, and Chad Littlefield, 35, at the shooting range about 50 miles southwest of Fort Worth.
Capt. Jason Upshaw with the Erath County Sheriff’s Office said Routh used a semi-automatic handgun, which authorities later found at his home. Upshaw said ballistics tests weren’t complete Sunday, but authorities believe the gun was used in the shootings. Upshaw declined to give any more details about the gun.
Routh has not made any comments indicating what his motive may have been, Upshaw said. Sheriff Tommy Bryant said Routh was unemployed and “may have been suffering from some type of mental illness from being in the military himself,” but he didn’t know if Routh was on any medication.
“I don’t know that we’ll ever know. He’s the only one that knows that,” Upshaw said. Continue reading
